Just a hy-pathetic-al at this point, but I'm curious if the axle width and spring perches from a newer Sterling 10.25 are the same as the bump-era Dana 60s?
Someday I may want to go with 3:55s in the '69 and the outboard drums the Sterling offers makes an axle swap over a ring and pinion swap seem worth the effort.

Re: F250 Dana to Sterling
The cab and chassis one should be the one you would want to look for
Sterling 10.25 in a 1996 F350 SRW
Spring Perch to Spring Perch (Center-Center) - 45"
WMS to WMS - 65.5"
Backing Plate to Backing Plate (Inside-Inside) - 53.5
(For some reason, I also have 1/2" steel spacers on each side for a total of 66.5". Knowing the previous owner of my truck, I'd guess these aren't factory, but I don't know)
Leaf Springs - 3" wide.
The SRW axle uses a lug-centric 8 x 6.50" bolt circle and conical lug nuts.
Sterling 10.25 DRW Cab and Chassis Axle (from a 1993 Econoline Conversion VanTruck, or TruckVan, if you wish)
Spring Perch to Spring Perch (Center to Center) - 40.5"
WMS to WMS - 65.5" (Same as SRW)
Backing Plate to Backing Plate (Inside-Inside) - 53.5
Leaf Springs - 2.5" wide
The DRW axle uses a hub-centric 8 x 6.50" bolt circle and flat lug nuts
DRW pickup axle measurements...
Sterling 10.25 DRW Pickup Axle (from a 1995 F350 7.3L)

WMS to WMS - 72.5"
Backing Plate to Backing Plate (Inside-Inside) - 58.5
Leaf Springs - 3" Wide
