390 Emblems

Post by blue68 »

Could you get the red flagged 390 fender emblems in 1968? I know you could get them in 1969, but i dont know about 68.

Hey, it just dawned on me that I didn't include those on the Body Trim & Insignias page. I'll take care of that this evening.

Thanks Keith!

The '390' emblems went in the same place w/ or w/o the 'Camper Special' emblems.

What's the deal with those black 390 emblems, Barry? A 'custom' detail? ;)

Yeah that was taken with a film camera, don't know why the red is so dark, don't remember it looking that way. :hmm:

Yeah, I've got a couple original sets, and the red is quite a bit brighter than those.

Niice! I'm going to pick up a new set from NPD sometime. They're $69.95 new.

But they do look good!

I'm hoping to post many pics up very soon of the whole truck, but I have to find a way to make the pics smaller, because everytime I post them, it says that they cant be over a certain size (250mb I think). If anyone knows how to fix this, just let me know.

Thanks

Blue 68,

If you can find any NOS ones go for that, I'm not overly impressed with NPD's repops on this particular part. :(

Have you seen them in person, DuckRyder?

I haven't, myself. I would probably like to get some NOS ones if I could find some someday, for quality sake.

Yes, I have them on my truck. (I know they aren't "correct")
