In restoration of my 69 F100 Explorer, I am missing the plastic retainer pin that holds the spring to the dash, upper L corner of the glove box. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Dennis Carpenter does not make this part. No luck with NPD, Mac's, LMC etc. Sadly after six months work this is the only part I can't find!!!

Re: 1969 F100 Glove Box Door Spring Retainer pin
Sadly I had to get mine by buying a glove box door of Ebay before I bought it I Emailed the guy and had him send the retainer with the door. Its the hardest part to find on my restoration. Maybe if enough of us request this part they will make it repoduction since they make the glove box bumpers. I hope somebody on fordification has one for you.

I might have one. Give me a few days to go through my "spare" parts.
If you don't hear from me by Monday night, then I don't have it anymore.

Well, I found the retainer and the spring but the tip of the reatainer has broken off. I think there's several options for you though.
(1) Keep waiting for someone to find the part for you.
(2) Keep scouring the "bone yards" for another part and hope that it doesn't break when you take it out of the dash.
(3) Use the old spring and have the plastic retainer made from a 3D printer but, I have no idea how much that would cost.
(4) In my "bucket" of spare hardware I found a pin (don't know the name of it) that has several holes machined through it. It fits the glove box spring pretty well but its a little long and doesn't fit into the hole in the dash. The length of the pin isn't much of an issue because there's nothing behind the dash that would interfere with it and you could always shorten the pin. The hole in the dash could be drilled to fit the pin and then a cotter pin could be used to hold it in place?
If you're interested, I'll send the plastic retainer (broken tip), the spring and the other pin for free if you'll pay for the postage?
