My transmission cross member for a 69 f100 4x2 has 3 bolt holes in each end, all drawings on this web site shows only 1 in center through frame. the front & rear holes are in edge of u shape with spacers to prevent destorition if bolts are used in these holes. I know that the cross member is original as i bought the truck new. Just been apart for several years.
Thanks

Re: Transmission cross member
from Georgia! FWIW, here's a pic I've been saving showing the 3 different x/m's for our trucks. #1 and #2 look identical to me but the poster had said they are all different applications and all are in their original state. However, there's a lot I don't know and I've seen some strange variations that people have posted on these trucks. Welcome to the forums and looking forward to pics of your truck!
