I'm looking to swap my tailshaft from my T19 transmission but can not figure out how to get it off. I have unbolted it from the transmission but it will not slide off the output shaft. What am I missing?
I'm also looking to swap my short tailshaft for a longer tailshaft so I can use my current driveshaft; any one have any ideas where I can find a long tailshaft that will bolt up to a T19 transmission?

Like Donnie said- The rear cast portion of the housing is usually called the tailhousing and the output shaft is the mainshaft. The mainshaft and tailshaft must match as a set, you can't just switch one or the other.
To switch mainshafts the transmission must be disassembled about 90% and reassembled. There's no shortcut here.

Haha no worries Donnie. Thanks for the info guys. Looks like I will have to get a two-piece driveshaft made.
