Looks like I may need a new one as while pulling the engine out, I noticed the P.O. welded angle iron strips to the back of the front crossmember. Why would anyone do that? Anyway, Is it possible to get a "NEW" one somewhere?

Re: FRONT CROSSMEMBER?
Maybe the PO thought it would strengthen the cross member. Can you grind the welds down and remove the angle iron, thus saving the one you have?

Re: FRONT CROSSMEMBER?
Removed the angle iron that was welded to the crossmember and found no reason for them to be there... MOVING on now...
