Air/fuel mixture

Post by towtruckerfour »

Does anybody know what a good adjustment is for a 2 barrel on a 70 302? I rebuilt the carb and turned the screws all the way in and then backed them out about 1 1/2 turns. The truck only drives around town so I'm thinking going leaner on it. Thanks

Thanks Fordman. My wifes work is only about 4 miles from home so the truck really doesn't get to warm up much by the time she gets there. I just figured going a little lean might be better for it.
