Intake Manifold
I picked up the old cast iron intake manifold I am planning on using on my engine from the machine shop yesterday. A lot of cleaning and some minor mods and repairs and it looks pretty usable for my 69 F-350 project. I am planning on using this with a 600 CFM Edelbrock carb and a spacer plate and am using an Edelbrock 2106 cam and lifter kit. The part number for the manifold is D5TE9425MP. I want to use this truck as a work truck so I was wondering what thoughts and comments you might have on this combination. Also any tips..tricks....or quirks of an upper end replacement job on an FE engine would be greatly appreciated as well as any info or input on the manifold itself. I should add that I am working with a basic stock 360 engine and an NP435 transmission in a dual wheel chassis.

Re: Intake Manifold
FWIW, I did the whole Performer "package" (carb, intake , cam/lifters) on the 68 I had with a 390.
I was a dog. I'll never buy another Edelbrock carb, Holley's alway's ran better for me. And cam, I'd be looking at a Comp XE256 or similar. just my

Re: Intake Manifold
i am guessing that that might be a 4bbl. or is it a 2bbl. either way it should bolt right on. don't forget to use the end gaskets and silcone on the end gaskets. the cork end gaskets can seep after a while but the rubber ones won't.
