Removed A/C unit...... now I'm lost

Removed A/C unit...... now I'm lost
I just removed the factory A/C from my truck and now I have some hose coming from the waterpump, that I don't know what to do with. anybody done this? what do I have to do to make sure it runs again.
Drive-in banks were established so most of the cars today could see their real owners.

Did you mean you removed the heater box? If you're planning on leaving it out permanently, then you can just remove the nipples from the water pump and the intake manifold and use threaded plugs to seal the holes.

yeah I removed the a/c heater box....... everything but the radio.

one hose goes to the water pump and the other to the intake. loop on of the hoses to the other port and hook it together. that will bypass those fittings.

there isn't one on the intake, just one on the waterpump and one on the block..... which reminds me, I think my engine is a 351c, but I'm not sure. I used the i.d. tips on this site but not sure. maybe someone could tell me what to look for. I can't find any numbers.

Count the valve cover bolts:
* 2 bolts: 239/256/272/292/312 (produced from 1954 to 1964)
* 5 bolts: 332/352/360/361/390/391/406/410/427/428 (FE engine)
* 6 bolts: 221/260/289/302/351W
* 7 bolts: 429/460
* 8 bolts: 351C/351M/400
* 2 bolts: 239/256/272/292/312 (produced from 1954 to 1964)
* 5 bolts: 332/352/360/361/390/391/406/410/427/428 (FE engine)
* 6 bolts: 221/260/289/302/351W

I counted 'em........ 8 but not sure how to tell 351c 351m or 400. checked everything on the site about em.

You can distinguish between the 351C and 351M/400 engines by the block casting number, located on the side of the block, under the rear of the right cylinder bank (just above where the starter mounts).
Both 351M and 400 engines use the same blocks. The most certain identification of the 351M/400 engines is the crankshaft casting number. In fact, identifying the crankshaft is really the only way to positively distinguish between the 351M and 400, as all their external components are the same.
Also, a 351C will have a small-block transmission bellhousing bolt pattern, whereas the 351M/400 has a 429/460 bolt pattern.

you can stil lrun the hoses together no matter what part of the enigne the hoses are hooked to.
