hooker super comp headers for a 460

Well my question is has anyone had any experience with the hooker super comp headers on a 72 with a 460 that has the correct motor mounts. I've read a lot about headmans, does the hooker go above the crossover, they look might long in the pics in the summit catalog. They sure cost way more just thinking they will fit better?

I have asked around about any headers that will fit (above the crossmember). ive heard both ways about the hooker super comps. the only headers that Ive heard sure things about are sanderson shorties. I called them and they said they would guarentee them to fit. The only reason ive held off is to search the portland swap meet this weekend. If you decide to try the hookers or hear anything solid on them I would surely like to know.
