my thoughts, run a thermostat unless it's a race car. It'll take longer to warm up, run cooler as temps drop. All of which cause accelerated engine wear.

I agree. Not running a thermostat is fairly retarded.

why???

I run a 195 in Texas. Quick warmup, less wear & tear on the motor. With what passes for fuel these days, you need heat in the chamber to get anything to burn.

Why do you want to take the thermostat out??

You need a thermostat.

Put a thermostat in your motor. There is no reason not to run one.

I have a built 460 here in houston and I run a 195 thermostat every day! Middle of the summer.

Do you have a cooling problem and thing not running a thermostat will help?
