Vacuum Advance

Post by wildcard »

Any tips on changing and setting a vacuum advance ? The instructions say to find the code on the dist. and look up that code on a sheet of paper that comes with it and it tells you how many turns to back off tke adjuster from bottom. Sounds simple, but the number on my dist. wasn't stamped very well and is impossible to read. I've tried rubbings and magnifying glasses but it's truly unreadable.
