camper special headers

yea im helping a buddy build a 390FE stroker for his 72 bumpside camper special im lookin at headers and i notice most of them say can not be used with a camper special. im just curious what makes it that much different so thta you can not use them?

does the cs have a factory sway bar? the headers might interfere with that. that is all i can think of.

That is it: (Most, Some, All?) Camper Specials have a front sway bar that mounts between the radius arms.

Yep...that's the only thing. If the truck doesn't have the radius-arm swaybar, the headers will fit just fine.
