Are the 71 & 72 A/C Dehydrater & Receiver the same??

Is there a differance at all, other than the date?

This is just my guess; 72 was the end of a body style run. 73 had a completely different heating system. I doubt that Ford would have changed anything for 1 year.

That's what I think, but the part numbers are different 1972 is D2TZ-19959-B, and the 1971 is D2TZ-19959-A

It is about the time that ford when from a flaired fitting to o ring. That may be the change. My 71 has the flaired fitting. I bet 72 had the o ring.

Thanks, I didn't want to get the wrong cobanation for my set up. I'm sure glad that their are good people on Fordification, that take the time to read, and answer when a fellow bumper needs help..
