351w / GT40p

Post by rangoon68 »

I am making plans for my build and was wondering if you guys know whether or not a 351w with GT40p heads bolted to it would have exhaust clearance issues. Will be automatic with no A/C. Just wondering since these are not angle plug heads, and they tend to have clearance issues. Let me know what you think. :hmm:

351w heads are the same as 302 heads from the mid 70's or so on. Except they have a larger head bolt size. Its getting harder to find the late 60's early 70's 351w heads that will give you more power and still you will end up having to have them gone thru. gt40p are gret but the angle plug head can cause header/manifold problems.
