How can I hop up my 390

Post by coop »

OK i have decided to go the distance. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to with my 70 F250 390? Currently stock, the truck will be used primarily for camping with a pop up cab over camper. And also occasional towing of my 4x4. i would still like to have reasonable gas mileage and decent power. Any suggestions, cam, headers, carb, intake?
I would like to be left with a dependable engine that will last awhile.

10-1 pistons, RV cam, Dual plane aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb, headers & duals. This will make a nice runner with decent mileage.
