well glad i got my truck fixed. but noticed i got to hit the gas petal to drop the idle, othewise it will drive itself. i think this is very bad for the tranny. any clues fo what it is and how to fix it, thanks.

Try lubing the area around the fast idle screw (choke side) or maybe the choke is set to high. Also check and lube the rest of the throttle linkage from peddle forward.
