a more lighted and focused picture would help but the skinny shiny peice of metal looks like half of one of the many snap-rings. im guessing a snap ring failed and let whatever it was holding loose then all hell broke loose :dk:

That pic looks like an aqarium. If its full of plastic, the thrust washer on the pump went poof.
Did it still work?

i dont know if it did or didnt i bought engine and trans for 125 dude i bought from said he wasnt for sure if the trans work or not but he did know that the engine did and it does the out put shaft on trans has a lot of wiggle and it rattles like there is something loose in the tail also there was water coming from the trans fluid (cooling lines when i took them off )and water in the pan so im guessing it dont work
