Newbie(s) from CA

Post by 71F100-390 »

G/f and I purchased a '71 F100 4x4 a few months ago and I came upon the site looking while looking for parts and info on the 'net.

Truck has been modified some by a PO and has a rebuilt 390 with an RV cam, headers, 4" lift, 35" tires, dual shocks, and a power steering conversion to some kind of Saginaw steering box (which will be the subject of another post). It's also a 4 speed, currently has drums all the way around but I've got a set of '79 Bronco axles to convert to disks up front.

The truck overall is pretty clean, semi-recent pearl white paint job with some trim smoothed out, a few rust bubbles at the very bottom of the fenders and the corners of the doors, nothing too serious.

Anyway, look forward to picking all of your brains for some help/info! :D

Thanks guys! The truck is awesome, a real beast. It has a few minor issues, but is in great shape overall. Once I get the disks swapped on and the steering box issue solved it'll be set! :D
