Hey all,
I need to know what i should do as far as keeping parts in my diff and auto transmission lubricated whilst she wont be running for a few months.
Should i fill the diff right up and if so, should i undo the oil feed where it meets the diff and fill it from there?
Is there anything else i need to consider doing so as to avoid problems later on.
Cheers,
Ross.

Storing Diff n Tranny
Until now cars have been like what water out of a tap is to most city folk.
Turn the handle and it just flows/Turn the key and she just goes.
I have finally realised there is an engine on the otherside of the firewall !!!
Now...I just need to figure out how to pipe the power to my peddle!!!

it will be fine for more than a few months, your thinking good but i wouldn't over concern myself with that, as long as they've got the recommended fluid levels in them they'll be fine. just make sure you have plenty of antifreeze in it if it'll sit through the winter.

Sweet,Thanks td.
Fluid levels are ok and we are just heading into spring so freezing is not a problem.
One less job.
Thanks,
Ross.

Does this also go for the auto tranny which is sitting on the tray?
