the oil looked red and recently rebuilt, a tree fell on the guys truck, lets hope it works.. but my question is........... any prep work that i should do before installing.

I would clean it up, drain it completely including the converter, change the fluid and filter at a minimum.

when were you there? the one in rancho?

my dad and i were in there for a while on monday. which truck did you pull it from?

Hey 71- I know it's a bit off topic but I noticed your from Folsom, Ca. I've got a bunch of inmates from Folsom State Prison. Man you gotta love California's over crowding. Wish I didn't have to deal with em' though.

I would put a new converter seal, tailshaft seal and shift shaft seal. :2cents:

:yt: defiantly the front seal would be a bummer to have to pull it for an $8.00 seal.

i went to the one in rocklin, man a c6 for 50,,, hopefully it works,
u for hire to put it in, u sound like u know what your doing.
