finally, got a c6 at pick n pull for 50 bucks....nice
the oil looked red and recently rebuilt, a tree fell on the guys truck, lets hope it works.. but my question is........... any prep work that i should do before installing.

I would clean it up, drain it completely including the converter, change the fluid and filter at a minimum.

Hey 71- I know it's a bit off topic but I noticed your from Folsom, Ca. I've got a bunch of inmates from Folsom State Prison. Man you gotta love California's over crowding. Wish I didn't have to deal with em' though.

defiantly the front seal would be a bummer to have to pull it for an $8.00 seal.
