Tranny help bout draining

i got a 69 ranger, i think its a c-6 , cant seem to find a drain plug. is there one that you drain by taking off the pan??? thanks. never taken off a pan before, what should i expect.

There is no drain plug. Expect transmission fluid to come out when you remove the pan.
Side oiler FE, see if you can catch me!!!

You also want to pull the inspection cover, spin the engine over so the torque converter drain plug is on the bottom, and drain it too.

Make sure you pour a few quarts of fluid back into it before you try to start it or you'll burn the pump up in the tranny.
