I tried to install the leaf springs on the truck first, so I could keep the rear end on the cart and just roll it up under the springs and bolt it in.
Well I could only get one side of the leaf spring to bolt up, the other end is of about 1", guessing that the spring needs compression to line up?
So should I half bolt the spring in place and then jack up the spring so it flexes enough that I can get the other bolt in, or bolt the spring to the axle and install it all at one time?
Im trying to do this the easiest way passable now that I have it all painted up and looking good.

Um....you aren't just trying to bolt the spring eyes directly to the frame bracket in the back, are you? There should be some shackles connecting the spring to the frame bracket, and there's more than enough travel in those shackles to get the bolts started.

Umm--yeah---this is a pain in the azzzzzz(and I did mine on just a frame-no box)to do.From your picture--it look's like ya might want to get it up a litttle higher--truck frame that is. Installing the rear first won't work---been there/done that. Get the front in the shackles and pin'd and then jack the back up into place---your flexOmatic wil move and does aid in getting it in place. I was able to raise and lower my frame along with jacking the rear end up and down.Good Luck
Don't know if these pic's will help,but---
