It's been longer than I thought..

Finally decided that stomping the brakes and hoping for the best wasn't going to get it anymore,so it's time to get new shoes on the front end. Wanna know how long it's been since they've been worked on? Well, I've owned it for three years so at least that long. Got new shoes and proceeded to tear things apart. Of course,I cant just slide the drums off even though they're loose as all get out. So I do the bearing removal thingy. What do you think I find on the inside?

Spiders. Yep,two of em. Nasty looking things too. And very cosy in their warm little place.

Brakes work much better now although since the shoes actually touch the drums now,I've discovered that they need turned. :o

Yep,spiders are going nuts here too as witnessed by the increasing amount of shreeks from my wife.
