I have been reading the forum for a long time now but never posted before. I really like the site, friendly people and good advise.
Here's a bit about me. I've been a mechanic for over 30 years, but haven't worked on cars for a living since 1985. I joined Ford of Canada in 87, and spent about 5 years as their light truck tech specialist, and about 4 as a service training instructor. (I trained dealer techs). Currently I have a 68 F100 that needs to be restored but is not too bad for a Canadian truck. Last year I rebuilt a 428 for it, and it sounds real nice! Major stuff it needs are a cab mount on the right front, and the ends of the support that runs under the cab are rusted out. Other than that she's not too bad. No pics yet.
