swapping from C-O-M to C6

What all do I need to convert my truck(1965 f250 w/390) from a cruis-o-matic to a c6?
2015 Camaro-2001 GMC Safari-1984 F250 6.9/T19 2wd-1974 Dodge D100 short fleetside~ 72 wife ~ late model kids, a Chocolate Lab named Coco and a white rabbit named Marshmallow...now I need a ferret named Graham and I will have S'mroes!!!..lol :D

assuming the bellhousing are the same for both trannies. probably your only worries would be linkages driveshaft length speedo cable and or gear and maybe the crossmember and trans mount.

I did this very same thing to my 67. The bellhousing is thicker on the com like 3 times as thick, so shorter bolts are needed. I also had to use the front half of the donor truck driveshaft and the back half of my original. Also I just pulled the speedo cable out of the donor truck and switched the plastic gear onto my original speedo cable. My C-6 has the inner type mount gear. There are outer and inner types. Mine had a small metal clip on the tip and I just had to pull it and slip the new gear on and push the clip back on.
