Econoline I beams

Post by junkyardjeff »

I have a chance to get a 85 E350 to get a rebuilt 351-W and since I have a 66 F250 that I would like to put discs on will the van I beams work on a truck,I know the vans have a front steer and the trucks are rear but do the tie rods attach to a arm that bolts on or is it made in the spindle. Since those vans have a design that goes back to around 75 I hope the beams will work as I will be able to get more parts off the van making it a better deal. Jeff

No, the steering arm is part of the spindle, so the van brakes won't work.
