New 'round these parts

Post by Fordtruckin9504 »

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm from near Raleigh, a little place called Butner, and I'm just starting in John Deere Technician's training at Wake Technical Community College and a Junior in Ag Business at NC State.

I've been reading this site and checking it out for over a year and I've been very impressed with the layout and organization as well as the freedom to speak your mind without fear of being censored like it is over on FTE. I've been looking for a new place to talk trucks since I left there a couple of years ago.

As to why I came here, I have been keeping my eyes open for a decent restorable truck of this era. I've missed out on at least a 1/2 dozen of them in the past couple of years, one only being 3 houses up. I'm currently in school so I don't have much time, but I'm over 1/2 way done with it so pretty soon I'll be out.

Anyway--I'm glad to be here and I'll go ahead and wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Welcome aboard! :)
Make school your priority. There will be lot's of time later for trucks. But if you find a good deal, grab it!

Hello and welcome from Texas! You gotta have patience when looking for your bump, she'll find you when she's good and ready  I looked for almost 2 years, on e bay and FTE (back when I used to go there) and finally found one on a friend-of-a-friend deal, and a damn good deal it was too !
