If he needs to use a 67 grill for reproductions I would be willing to loan him mine for the time being.

Just a thought

Keith, I dont know about a time-frame. I do know that it CAN take a while, because, if I think about it, My Dad also sold him a NOS hood ornamet (for 73-79 Trucks--- The one with the horizontal Lions, and red background) 1 and a half years ago! He has just introduced it in his last catalouge.

I dont know how long- maybe a year. His next catalouge will most likely say "COMING SOON" , just like it did with the hood ornament.

Hopefully, since the demand is high, he'll get on the ball and have it in several months.

Thanks

Spartman, I think the original grill gets ruined during the process of making a mold.

Also, he wanted it in the Ford box, no sratches, no dents, and it cant be faded at all.

He was picky. We rode up there (in Charlotte), and he inspected it for like 20mins. He grinned from ear-to-ear. Haha.

Yea.. I wish he would just take some that were faded, just not bent. I have like 3 in my attic. But he won't for some reason.

I dont know what the deal was with him and the box???? Maybe it was just something to prove it was and un-used part, not a re-done old one.

Maybe boxes make him happy.

Probably a combination of that and maybe his wanting to also replicate the factory box for his new pieces?
