Last weekend I removed my T18 mount and got to take some better pictures of it, but they're still kind of blurry.
Here's it's easy to see the surface that pressed up against the transmission:
I think I have that funny extra piece sitting on the mount upside down in this photo:
Showing how the funny extra piece is separate from the rest of the mount. I'm not sure what this piece is for.
Another look at the underside of the mount:
Thanks for the excellent advice folks!

Where did you order that mount from? I'm looking to chage my C6 mount from the style that's on my truck now to the style of the mount you ordered becuase I want to see if that'll fix my crooked driveshaft.

that mount wont fix a crooked driveshaft. did you putthe crossmember in backwards? they will fit in there both ways. without looking i think the curved part of the crossmember needs to point forward.

I was gonna try and put that mount on and flip around the cross member and see if that'll do it.fordman wrote:that mount wont fix a crooked driveshaft. did you putthe crossmember in backwards? they will fit in there both ways. without looking i think the curved part of the crossmember needs to point forward.
