Well a stock to mildly modded 300 will do very well with a DP. As far as the crossflow, well the aluminum head that ford six will be offering isnt a crossflow, it will use the same intake and exhaust as the stock head.
1968 F100 Took the running 390 out, and installed a Built 300 with AOD.
