because the gasket he is talking about molds around there rear of the master. and the hole in the firewall is larger than the rear of the master hole. it has to be a tube like i showed the pic of to work. the tube goes from the booster to the firewall. it takes up space from the booster brackets to the firewall.

re: Cardone booster for '67
Why is it that it seems I'm discovering another part I "need" like every other day in trying to upgrade to power brakes?
Do I really need this "brake booster vacuum tee"? Or should I already have one on the truck? (the one below is fordman's auction):

Also, under the possibility that I DO need this and I do NOT win the auction for Craig's part, where else do I score one of these?? Do they make them aftermarket, available at parts stores?

there should be a vacuum line you can tap into with a regular T fitting never seen a 352 in person so i couldnt tell ya where one may be. but you have an auto so you should have one on there.

Mike,
I mentioned it in my original post, but all I did was buy a "T" and spliced into the vacuum line going to the transmission. Since you have an auto transmission, thats all you should need to do to.
Something like this

That one in the picture, you can break off the smaller sections until you get to the size you want to use. But that one was just an example to give Mike an idea what I was talking about. Any parts store should have a 3/8 tee.

Okay folks... I think I have everything!
I have the Cardone booster and MC for a '67 (part #50-3514), I have booster brackets that have been bead blasted, primered, and painted, I have about 3' of vacuum tubing (went for more than I need on purpose), I have a 3/8" "T" fitting like the one shown above in seattle67's post (could only find white, though). I have hose clamps, of course.
I wish I had the little bracket that holds the tube to the firewall, but I guess I can use a ziptie or something.
So... is there anything else I need, aside from brake fluid? There's no special brand or type of fluid I need to use, is there (outside of "brake fluid")?
