Tranny swap??

To pull them together you have to pull the top cover of the tranny. I did this and put a heavy duty trash bag over it, used duct tape to seal that up and went from there. No dirt in the transmission. Just be very careful and don't rush it, everything will be fine.

Here is my :2cents: I would drop the tranny first then pull the engine it sounds like more work but so does pulling the front clip. Either way you go good luck and have fun.

It is much easier to bolt a tranny to a motor if the bellhousing is on the tranny but that isn't very easy if is motor is in the truck
