The spindle lacks about a 1/4 inch on the passenger side and about a 1/16 inch on the driver side from hitting the I-beam when the steering box is turned lock to lock. I think this could be a problem and I haven't decided what to do about it.
Any ideas?
That's not a problem with the steering linkage, it's a difference in the lock-to-lock limits of the box itself. The Bendix box has a smaller limit than the Saginaw box. I have those specs around here somewhere, I'll see if I can dig them up.

my 67 has a bendix box on it. it also has a bracket that is a stop for the pitman arm to stop its travel in both directions. this is original to the truck as far as i know.
