You'll have to take the manual hub apart. It's fairly simple, just use an allen wrench to remove the manual hub itself, I lay all the parts out in order that they come off, then there's two lock nuts, with a spacer in between the two nuts, they hold the wheel bearings, again I lay all the lock nuts and bearings out in the order they came out. (because I've been known to forget) The whole hub should then slide right off, ( it's heavy!) Do the repairs, pack the bearings with a good wheel bearing grease, (don't forget to install a new grease seal on the back side of the hub) reinstall the wheel bearings and lock nuts. (not too tight, just until there is no "slack"), clean the manual hub and coat with a light film of grease, and put back on.

You could remove the three screws, although I've found them to be really, really tight usually and easy to strip out. The other way, you're wheel bearings will get repacked, which they probably need anyway. Two birds with one stone.
