Is that satin paint, flat paint, or black primer? Looks good. Also, nice work on the drip rails and the slots look great.derbydad276 wrote:someone asked for a side profile with slots

Re: post your rims
Haven't read thru the rest of this post to see if anyone has asked you, but those wheels are exactly what I want to run. Look like 15x10's on rear and 15x8up front...? If so what BS are you runningF100builder wrote:I like your style Bobby!I've had these on my '69 for a while now. Wheel Vintiques Smoothies with 1942 stainless caps. No rings yet but perhaps soon. In my opinion, AR Torq Thrust and Torq Thrust II's look fantastic on nearly ANYTHING. I like the slots on our trucks too if the size is right. I've got a set of Coys (TTII look alike) on my '56 now. I can't stand wheels that look too European on classic American cars and trucks and I'm not too much into the solid Centerlines and Cragers (way too 80's).

I'm thinking that I'd like a set of 20" American Racing Salt Flats when I get my '69 down in the weeds...

Re: post your rims
Started to have my 16" Ford replacement rims(truck had 16.5" splits originally) sand blasted and powder coated while I'm going through the process of buying new tires. The tires are Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX, size LT265/75R16. Cooper is one of the last American made and owned tire manufacturers left in the United States, and has put a lot of money in new technology into there tires. Works for me.
