80's model lincoln rearend?

It a towncar from early to mid 80's Would that still be a 9"? it is posi so if not a 9" would it fit under our trucks?

its an 8.8 . they have lots of aftermarket parts for them. ford put the in all kinds of things from mustangs to trucks.

1970 crewcab 393w afr heads, 6 speed, turbocharged, 6 piston calipers 13" rotors on all 4 corners

well marz68 has one under his truck. not sure if it narrowed. i would guess not because the rims he prob sit more to the ouside. mine has a 9 inch out of 70's lincoln. i make not use the disoc brake setup. here a link to his pics. i would pm him and aske him about them
