what is the original color of my '69 ranger?

The vin plate say 2P under the word color. my truck is one solid color and the paint looks original. could it be it was born a two tone truck?

probably, a paint code like that normally means two tone, or maybe the interior was different.

Looks like two-tone to me. Code 2 in the Ford master catalog shows Light Ivy Yellow. Code P shows Medium Ivy Green----Paint may and can have other names for the same code and or different model years depending on whos book you are looking in but will all mix to the same right color by code.

The paint code on my 69 Ranger is P2. It's light yellow above the chrome and green below.
