frame rails being even would be amazing. are we talking an early 70's C10 or so? if i could get the front end where it just slides under the right width my dreams would come true hahaha! it will be a new frame firewall back with this front end.

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's the C-10 trucks that I've heard recommended as a semi-easy swap, due to their frame-rail widths being the same as ours. You might want to slide up under one and double-check this though, just to be safe, before buying one, if you decide to consider this.

its deffinately a consideration. i will find one asap. measure wheel to wheel and frame as well.

Keith I believe if I have heard correctly, Its the 73-87 chebbie frames that are the same. Thats what I will be doing, only because of the above mentioned ease of getting parts.

does this mean the fullsize frames that ran for like 10 years straight are what im lookin for? or is it a different chevy? early-mid 70 c10?
