Need to know part name and where to purchase.

Post by eyezuk »

I have a 1967 ford f100 with 352 cid and light duty 3 on tree. The rubber boot is missing on the clutch lever to the bell housing. Any idea what the specific name is and where I can purchase?

Thanks!

Clutch fork dust boot, and it should be available from one of the aftermarket vendors.

Check the "Links and Resources" link at the top of the page, one of the first few vendors listed should carry one.

Oops, I see this is already answered. Can't figure out how to delete this so what the heck!

If I understand correctly, it's called a clutch release lever boot and Dennis Carpenter sells them for $15. The part number is C5TZ-7513-A. Here's a photo from their catalog.

No problem!

Just be careful with those links, though, or pretty soon your wallet will be empty, your credit cards will be maxed out, you'll be taking a third (or forth) mortage on the house, etc etc etc....
