Clutch linkage question

I was wondering if for our clutch linkages if you could but bearing in those areas instead of the device that is in there now.

The area I am talking about is on either side of the equalizer/zbar where it connects.

Has anybody done this?

maybe a bolt with a bearing on the block side. i don't think you could on the frame side without fabing something up.

It looks like the bushings whatever are held on by a snap ring.

Couldn't a person put a bearing on there instead?

if you could find the right bearing i guess you could. i haven't got a very close look at the one i have on my parts truck.

I think they use bushings because the engine moves around too much. Bearings would lock it in place and probably bind up. Now if the engine and tranny mounts were solid, you probably could.
