hope like hell its just a speedo cable :hmm:

I would grease everything under your truck.
now when you say you through it in neutral are you just hitting the clutch pedal?
if it stops when you press the clutch pedal is the throw out bearing, if it stop then you take it out of gear it mint be the cluster gears bearings :cry:

Greased the u joints. They seem pretty tight and had plenty of grease in them. The noise didn't go away. Maybe its the bearing on the driveshaft support. How tuff to get that out? I read somewhere that its "permanently" lubricated.

it is permantly greased. to change it out you have to remove the driveshaft and have a new one pressed on.
