F600 OR F700 CAB SWAP WITH A PICKUP

HELLO I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME IF A LARGER TRUCK CAB F 600 F500 F750 CAN BE CHANGED OVER TO A F 250 4X4 PICUP.. 67-72 ALSO WHAT THE DIFFERENCES ARE.. CAB MOUNTS ETC. IF THE LARGER TRUCK CAB MOUNTS WILL NOT FIT HOW MUCH TROUBLE WOULD IT BE TO REPLACE BACK AT THE FIRE WALL.. THANKS DWAYNE

Also introduce yourself in the welcome forum.

As far as differnences I think that the steering colum will not line up right since on the big trucks the colum goes completely under the dash whereas our trucks the dash has a hump cut out for the colum

i would think that would be your only problem is the column.

This picture shows the light-duty trucks' dash that is notched for the steering column, whereas the medium-duty trucks' dash isn't notched...the column goes completely under it and down at a different angle, plus the F600 dash doesn't have the necessary provisions for mounting the F100-style steering column:

In addition to the steering column problem, the hood hinges attach to the firewall instead of the inner fenders:

The front cab mounts are also totally different meaning a lot of time will be spent cutting, trimming and welding on the firewall :(
