Radiator Mounting Hardware

Post by Russell J »

So I'm getting ready to replace the radiator in my 72 F100 2wd. I looked at the Tech page but it's not really answering my question which is...

Is the mounting hardware for the four radiator holes simply bolts and nuts (maybe a locknut or washer) or should there be some sort of rubber bushing along with the hardware to aleviate vibration?

Thanks folks!

No bushings/pads. Just bolted straight to the radiator support.

Keep in mind the radiator support itself sits on rubber bushings.

Thank you, gentlemen.

I haven't pulled my old rad yet so I'm crossing my fingers that the rubber bushings are under there!
