Headman Hedders
I just put on a set of headman headers on my 69 f 100 with a 302 engine. I got the headers from LMC the end of the headers are hitting the cross member. Has any one have the same problem if so how did you fix the problem. Thanks for any help that can be passed along.

You might try posting some pics of the situation. Are the headers mounted? Do they actually touch the crossmember?

Re: Headman Hedders
It's pretty much a standard thing for our trucks when we put long tubes on them unfortunately. One way to clearance it a little is to put some washers between the tail shaft housing and the transmission mount to tilt the back of the motor up so it lifts the header flanges off the cross member.
The other way is to mark where they are hitting and remove the cross member that they are hitting and cut that section out then flip it over and weld it back in place.
