Throttle linkage
Has anyone successfully repaired the crazy throttle linkage "trapeze" by installing bronze or nylon bushings?
1967 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
Another 67 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
2016 F-150 Eco-Boost 2.7 liter. (It will smoke the tires!)
1972 F-350 Sport Custom cab & chassis.
1972 F-250 Explorer Special, Camper Special.
1971 F-100 custom. 302, C-4, p.s. p.b. factory 65 amp alternator with transistorized voltage regulator.
Another 67 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
2016 F-150 Eco-Boost 2.7 liter. (It will smoke the tires!)
1972 F-350 Sport Custom cab & chassis.
1972 F-250 Explorer Special, Camper Special.
1971 F-100 custom. 302, C-4, p.s. p.b. factory 65 amp alternator with transistorized voltage regulator.

I have a NOS one that I bought because mine isn't great and was thinking about trying brass inserts on the old one when I switch them out - if it works I'll post some pics and what I did to it......

Where did you find the NOS trapeze, and is that the real name of the part?
As soon as I saw trapeze I knew what you were talking about. I am looking for a solution for mine. It has seen better days.

I have purchased one for a 302 engine from Greens, I bought a new one also from C&G ford parts.
