Any one got a thread on the subject? I have all my bump trim (small 1.1/2") pieces now along with the lower 4 rib trim pieces and need to clean them up, straighten them out, paint the black and some how remove or make small scratches invisible. I know I have seen a thread some place but not finding it right now. Also need to do the same to my "Ford" tailgate section
thanks.

Re: revitalizing trim pieces
yea, I guess that was it. so...anyone done it that way or another? what about the long bedside pieces?, make a trough with large PVC pipe? and what has everyone used to for the black paint on the trim and headlight surrounds for 70-72 grills?

If you are talking about the headlight bezels, I painted mine satin black on my 1972 ford truck, they came out nice.

Re: revitalizing trim pieces
I used plastidip for the logo. Easier to apply and remove whenever I want to.

OK, so those that have done this, one you got the trim all polished, what did you do to protect it, clear powder coat, clear rattle can or nothing.
