Will it bolt right in? Any mods needed to the driveshaft? Ijust picked the truck up from the shop and the tranny (C4) is going. It slips pretty bad going into 3rd. I found a C6 on ebay for $150 used.

re: C4 to C6 swap?
I know the C6 is longer so the driveshaft will need to be shortened. I think the perch for the transmission mount is located further back too but I would think you should be able to slide the crossmember back--probably would even have the holes drilled for you. I would think the linkage would take some messing around with too--but it should be doable.
I'm sure more will chime in here. I've done the swap but in my Mustang when I went FE--it was easy and in these trucks it should be even easier--
