Cleaning house ...
Hi Everyone, Well time marches on and waits for nobody as the old saying goes. I have a few parts I am selling and have priced most of them but have hit a dead end trying to figure out what a 223 Ford 6 cylinder used cylinder head c/w intake manifold is worth. A buyer is coming here and I hope they will purchase all my Mercury trucks, Y blocks and parts and FE parts and some flathead electrical items and my '34 Rat Rod powered by a 272 Y block and Borg Warner auto trans. Any ideas out there will help. Thank You in advance.

Honestly I about give stuff away if the end user will appreciate them. I've watched hoarded good parts turn into trash from hanging around too long. Most of them mine so karma it forward.

So it wasn't exactly baret & Jackson around here this AM but did manage to sell my '34 hot rod, a pair of mirrors, the '59 Mercury M350 custom cab dually and my '49 Mercury M155 wide axle 3 ton. Tough to see them go but Ranchero50 you are right to let things go. I know others will now enjoy them and have the necessary funds to see their new projects through. Had a old farm neighbor pass away about 4 years ago so his 4 children who have no interest in farming put a farm machinery and tool sale together. We all knew the old guy was a bit of a hoarder but 2 full pallets of pick axes? 3 pallets 6 rows deep of brand new welding rods, all 1/8" 7018? 2 sale rings went all day and just junk as far as a bunch of us were concerned netted the kids almost $1.8 million! Incredible! But in that mix were some antique Kenworths, complete drive trains, Wagner tractors with Cummins engines and there still is a 50X120 building full of antique big truck drivelines and big diesel engines locked up. Why? I did show the 223 cylinder head, rocker shaft and rocker cover and intake c/w single barrel Holley carb to the buyers which netted me a blank stare. Amazing. Well I will find out what the part is worth and report back unless others can find out. So until then I will just enjoy my '59 Edsel Corsair and '64 International 1100A pickup. It's all I need. I still also have a pair of C1 FE cylinder heads here if anyone is interested.
