You mean fuel pump?
You can install a helicoil thread insert. Buy the kit, it's easy.

There are only two kinds of mechanics, the one's that have done this and the one's that are going to do it. :D Heli coils work well but I would build a plate for this, glue it on with Gorilla Glue and wire in an electric fuel pump bolted to the frame with a independent switch. That way you don't have to work in close quarters and you have just built yourself an anti theft system. :2cents:

There are two kinds of mechanics, ones that glue stuff together and ones that make proper repairs.

I studded mine for that reason. You can start it onto stud, compressing spring and not crossthread into aluminum. Also can hang gasket first.

Stick you a mirror up there or feel with your finger where the fuel pump cam is. Installation will be much easier if you rotate the engine to where the pump operating cam is pointing straight up and not down on the pump arm.

Also what’s the best way to turn over motor by hand it’s newly rebuilt last year and I can’t get it to budge by hand I think It needs to turn just a bit for better fuel pump alignment
